sisters friends
This morning I’m making a card for two challenges one is a design from Tuesday Morning Sketches( see below) and the other Everybody art challenge using the theme friends. The stamp is Stampin’ up, and when I first saw it i could imagine me and my barefoot sister exploring in the summer. The circle and flower border are cut with nestabilities from Spellbinders, the pink dots are dew drops.
pb indian summer
I won last weeks PB drawing, I can really use more Penny Black stamps!!!
This week is ta da.. Indian Summer which we’re having in Southern California( actually it real summer since we only had 3 days of summer this summer). The frog enjoying a cone by the pond is Penny Black chalked, and the grass stamp behind is unnamed and the dragon flies are Stampin’ up. the striped paper is from a DCWV stack. and of course the frog and frame cut with spellbinders nesties
Happy Indian summer
anything but a card day
I know it’s two days late but the Stampin’ Royalty challenge this wednesday was anything but a card. These are covers for post-it notes that make a nice little gift. They are stamped on vellum (I tried craft paper and cardstock but that broke when folded over and over). I then cuttlebuged the thanks and stamped the su flower or just stamped the bird cage. They are fastened with a small amount of Velcro… the edges done with special edged scissors. to ‘hide’ the Velcro the bird is colored from behind and the gem was added.

tms handmade flowers
The Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge was handmade flowers and I made one but it stuck out farther than iI like on that card so decided to go with punched flowers, vase and swirls added a background paper and an embossed happy birthday-easy yes pretty too. KISS(keep it simple sweetie).
cat for Patti
Haven’t done a cat card in a long time so here is animage from Inkadinkado. I got to use my EK pet paws punch that looks like a cartoon (not enough toes) foot ! Today a cat print. The cat image cut/embossed with a nestie. a ribbon and buttons complete the card.
template from Mojo Monday 157 is below.
Bella ssd
My son is letting me watch his puppy while he’s busy and she is such a good dogie friend to her sister my dog Sisi. As you might imagine with two dogs of approx the same age and same size, they play play play and play!!! My SiSi has chewed on fewer shoes since Bella is here keeping her busy and sort of out of some trouble.
**** note i want to use this for Funky Friday button challenge too!
this card -the frame is spellbinder, the sentiment Stampin’ up and the challenge is Skipping Stones Design… sketch follows.

Its Saturday morning and I pulled out my penny black stamps and had a lion , i want to use again since it reminds me of my dad, he was a Leo and loved Lion images.
