LIM 200th

fether-congratsThis morning the Less Is More  blog is celebrating it’s 200th challenge.  So here’s a celebration card. I printed the congrats and then used a spellbinder to cut  and emboss a spellbinder feather, added twine circles, and colored the feather tip blue before gluing it to the card.  Congratulations ‘Less is More’, my favorite  card challenge.

Gumball birthday

gumball--bdyes Ive used this image a few days ago but it deserves another view… this is for two challenges Seize the birthday  and Allsorts dies and punches. the white hearts are cuttlebuged on the card and the cuts are spellbinders with a scrap of heart paper…a knot and a stamped happy birthday. wouldn’t qualify for a one layer wonder would it? see my previous card for the origin of the gumball stamp .

orange and poppy gnome

Three challenges today, the theme is Cupcake Inspiration – Gnomes.  The colors are from  Color Throwdown and PlayDate Cafe.  The ovals were cut with spellbinder nesties, the drawing  from a blog  SJ’slittlemusings , she has a great blog and often offers cute designs like this gnome. I paperpieced him in Photoshop elements.

1st communion for Nora

Finally, time to post a card and its for two challenges;  the Party Time Tuesday– vintage theme  and Top tip Tuesday‘s- drag out the old( a project youve been working on for months).   The card is for Nora’s first Communion.  I’ve had this picture of my aunt Lucy and her cousin Mary Sue for the longest time and wanted to put it to good use.  The oval cut and  frame is spellbinders, the ribbon from Michael’s, the background card from dcwv box of cards.

Fuschia and butterflys

Whats going on ?  Two Mother’s day cards with fuchsias? yes guess the picture reminded of the digi and then I had to use the picture.  This is for the Tuesday Morning sketchs challenge   image  and a die cut- spellbinder of course.  Do you like this picture or the digi posted yesterday?
