valentine jar 2018

heartjar18The AAAcards  challenge is ‘All you need is love’ so   a jar full  of hearts should  fill out the challenge.   The stamp is Valentine jar from Bugaboo and the  embossing envelope is a Darcie.  Several papers were used for  for the hearts in jar . Valentine cards are bright and so much fun!

valentine ewe 2017

val-ewe-2017The Less is More challenge this fortnight is a cute one layer card.   I’ve always thought the Bugaboo Digi  Stamp ewes were  toooo  cute and I make at least one ewe valentine  card every year. on top is  the first…. the red glitter looks more blurrie on the picture than in real live.   the next card is the LESS card  less is sometimes better

Valentine

val-girl-at-mailbox-card-pdcwI remember elementary school and giving and getting so many valentines…  on Valentines daywe went to our mail boxes (decorated shoe boxes) and counted our wealth…a desk full of cards from our class mates.  I kept the cards for many years… wish i would’tn have thrown them out, and wonder if any of the names on the back would breing back memories of school friends or those class projects?

I paper pieced  this A Day for Daisies  digital stamp  using mostly  the Play Date cafe colors.  I made my 2nd entry in the A Day f0r daisies challenge pink polka dots…  then  made another card  adding  red  for another entry for CASology – red.

silver cards

silvrcardsw2I was doing Valentine’s and liked the design of the card on the right so thought

I’d do a birthday card too.   I saw the idea of using  silver tape from the hardware store and then cuttlebug emobossing it on a piece of stiff cardboard.  the idea is from the Dec/Jan Stampers Sampler which I get every other month.

The stamps are stampin up,  embossed with cuttlebug  a2 envelopes both the silver and the backgrounds and then added ribbon.

Its Valentines day

love you

On this Valentines day I need to do a card so  my newest stamping up ‘Love you much’ stamp  was used and had a new spellbinders heart template, cut embossed and then added chalk to the embossed parts, simple.

Last o8 valentine

Last 08 valentineOk

This really is the last i had just one more unfroggetable Valentine to add and then its over till next year.

I had some cuttlebug hearts left over so I put them on then a ribbon, then pasted the frog and more leftover hearts.

Guess I’m all set for next year, very very early.
