new year going to the dogs

dog-paw-birthday It’s The year of the dog so my beauties Cielo, Sisi, and Bella get to pose for another card… Heres a birthday card for a neighbor who watches and feeds them when we are away from the house. its so nice to be able to share puppies with neighbors who will feed them when we are away over a long day.

I made another card with the year of the dog theme for the dry emboss Less is More challenge this week. Just a happy new year and a Darcie embossing folder.

Gung Hay Fat Choy

tricky One Layer Wonder-grey and white and a color… since its Chinese new year I decided to do a dragon… can’t find my Gung hay fat choy stamp so its not on the card. the dragon is Stampin up colored with chalk.

New Year rabbit 2

For Chinese New Year my sister told me that new years rabbits should be wild and not cute bunnies but since I don’t have any real Chinese new rabbit stamps this will have to do since its Penny Black Saturday (sketch below) and Daring card makers have a new years rabbit challenge . Here is a Penny Black bunny stamp and a JustRite happy new year stamp. I punched & pasted the flowers and swirls, chalked the rabbit added a cuttlebuged blue background.

Ox Year thanks
