pb not a square

Although the theme for penny black this morning was not a square, this card is sort of square but i used a  spellbinder  nestability to cut  so I guess it fits the category.  The butterfly is Penny black the flowers and sentiment are stampin up and used a sponge to frame the edges. Can’t decide if its too plain.

sisters friends

This morning I’m making a card for two challenges one is a design from Tuesday Morning Sketches( see below)  and the other Everybody art challenge using the theme friends.   The stamp is Stampin’ up,  and when I first saw it i could imagine me and my  barefoot sister exploring in the summer. The circle and flower border are  cut with nestabilities from Spellbinders, the pink dots are dew drops.

anything but a card day

I know it’s two days late but the Stampin’ Royalty challenge this wednesday was anything but a card. These  are covers for post-it notes that make a nice little gift.  They are stamped  on vellum (I tried craft paper and cardstock but that broke when folded over and over).    I then  cuttlebuged the thanks  and stamped the su flower or just stamped the bird cage.  They are fastened with a small amount of Velcro… the edges done with special edged scissors.   to ‘hide’ the Velcro the bird is colored from behind and the gem was added.

Bella ssd

My son is letting me watch his puppy while he’s busy and she is such a good dogie friend to her sister my dog Sisi.   As you might imagine with two dogs of approx the same age and same size, they play play play and play!!! My SiSi has chewed on fewer shoes since Bella is here keeping her busy and sort of out of some trouble.

**** note i want to use this for Funky Friday button challenge too!

this card  -the frame is spellbinder, the sentiment Stampin’ up and the challenge is Skipping Stones Design… sketch follows.
