love is sharing sweet nothings

The penny black challenge this week was Love is and I have this wonderful PB frog stamp so i fit it in.. chalked the frogs cut with a nestie and embossed the red background with a cuttlebug heart folder added a bow and a few hearts…. wallah simple cure froggie card.

Happy birthday mom

Its mom’s birthday, and with a nickname Bea she gets a lot of bees and flowers from me, so here’s a bee for Bea. The embossing is cuttlebug, the flower Stampin up chalked and the bee punched from Martha Stewart. I love all white cards but thought this needed the flower and bee stripes colored…

I’m entering this in the flourishes challenge from my time to craft and the girly challenge from Tip Top Tuesday, and although the stamens are yellow hope this fits into the Less is more challenge too(use pink and black and white).

For the One Layer Challenge this week we had to use an image, a border, and bling , believe it or now this took over 5 tries and i still don’t like it very much. Some times one’s tools aren’t quite right and its the stamp mounters fauld fault… wish I’d have known how important mounting the borders parallel to the edge was. I may unmount these stamps and put on cling backing but don’t have time this morning.

FYI many comments are suggesting I get a stamp a ma jig, and I have one but forget to use it thanks!!!!!

bowl birthday

I needed a sketch for some bowling images and the Tuesday Morning sketches, see below, was perfect… I got some bowling images from a website called kalodesigns.. for Delora’s birthday… played with the size and number of imnages in photoshop elem3ents then printed them cut them out and chalked the ball and edge of the pin image.. the paper is dcwv I bought form a craft store bin. I left out the left hand dots ca8use the hb is so busy.

New Year rabbit 2

For Chinese New Year my sister told me that new years rabbits should be wild and not cute bunnies but since I don’t have any real Chinese new rabbit stamps this will have to do since its Penny Black Saturday (sketch below) and Daring card makers have a new years rabbit challenge . Here is a Penny Black bunny stamp and a JustRite happy new year stamp. I punched & pasted the flowers and swirls, chalked the rabbit added a cuttlebuged blue background.

tms new year rabbit

Tuesday morning sketch is below, the embossing is for My Time to Craft. Its a Penny Black rabbit for the upcoming Chinese new year and the Daring cardmakers challenge. If I couldof found a happy new year stamp I would of used it. its cut with oval spellbinder nestine.

Welcome Benjamin

The design sketch had a pin but not too sure if it looks a little strange pointing at the stroller. My neighbors had a new baby in December and this is for the welcome gift. The background paper was from a Joann bin and the stamps are from the Stampin up set Fun and fast notes. the design sketch is Mojo Monday 175, see below. The Penny black allsorts challenge blog is male, so i think this fits too.

still winter

Ive been doing my meetings so i had lest time to craft… so this is for 3 challenges- the colors are form cupcake inspirations, the brads from tms heavy metal and the theme snow from every body art challenge… its Friday so hopefully I’ll get back in the card making grove tomorrow morning.. the writing is a paper from Joanns and the picture is from stampin up, curt with spellbinder. the brads are memories…

Simplicity One Layer Wonder challenge today was use more then one sentiment and no images… one of the first card posted was love you win a heart outline and i cased(or is that copied the idea) cause im just not comvortable with all words. hope Kasia doesn’t mind. the words are from stampin up sets.
