splash of pink

Splash of pink the theme of Playdate cafe this week.. the flower and sentiment stamps are form Stampin up. I cut and pasted the black & white pieces for the background , masked and stamped 3 flowers on a pink scrap then added then penned a little yellow in the centers cut and attached the flowers to the card, finally adding stamped sentiment.

It mojo monday and dothing i have my mojo but im including this any way the black and white background is recollections paper cut with a nestie, the heart is cut with a nestie and the sentiment is from KC&co Valentine book of papers.. happy day before.

valentine swing and bear

Its Sunday and I usually do cupcake inspirations… see the inspiration below. The stamp is a digital from Bugaboo stamps colored with photoshop elements., printed then cut with a valentine circle nestability The sentiment is Stampin’ up ‘gentle thoughts of you’.

Wind surf birthday

I was asked to make a card for Dan who likes wind surfing and I didn’t have a wind surfer stamp so i winged it… I had A Muse Art Stamp surf board stamped on scraps of red and stripe,and cut and pasted , then used punch to simulate waves and circle punch to simulate kites… then drew in the harneses and added spots go give the feel of sand…. I’ve included the cake and surfboard envelope in the background. since the Allsorts challenge blog is free and easy… I’m entering this card.

The Penny Black Saturday Challenge is Love and Kisses so the kc&co paper with x&o’s and swirls and hearts works petty well. The stamp is Penny Black chalked then cut out, and pasted on the KC & co background, added a sentiment.

Love is in the air

The Simon says stamp challenge is Love is in the air… how about frog is in the air? And the CAS Love ya to pieces , clean and simple paper piecing., and Raspberry delight colors from crafts4eternithy, I stamped the card after gluing on the hearts background, then stamped the frog on green, cut him out and used the Stampin up 3 hearts punch to punch the balloons form the k&c paper.. glued them on and penned in 2 more balloon strings.

The stamp is Penny black the paper kc&co.. a valentine stack… that’s it.

Happy Birthday Paul fire

I’ve always made a chicken card for Paul… i love it when I’m at his home and see him feed the chickens…( i don’t have any chickens). This year thought I’d do something different and since his newest book is titled ‘Log and Kindling for the Fire of Revival’ , I had to include a fire and this fireplace seemed right. The stamp is from Make it crafty, the wood is the craft colored card stock …cuttlebuged with a wood envelope and the strips are from a memories paper pack. The challenge is Color Throwdown– summer sun, early espresso, Cajun craze and very vanilla.
