I went to Less is More and was happy to see the challenge was Horoscopes, an excuse to use my favorite.I’m on the cusp so depending on the place ones looks for the dates,i my birthday can be one either Scorpio or Sagittarius so i thought there was a choice, and chose Scorpio. however later was told that I’m really a Sagittarius ( by a ‘real astrologer’ and knew by my date and time).

The ‘ digital stamp used is a pdf from a hand embroidery design i found on the internet. Loved the simple design so bought it, printed it and colored it for today’s card. Scorpio is the pdf from Urban threads.

medi birthday

My friend Jonie is turning 65 and has been letting everyone know that she will soon get Medicare. I thought this sentiment should be on her card. I think I came- up with it , but who knows i might have seen it somewhere.. This is entered in Seize the birthday ‘make us laugh;’ theme, and the Less is more One layer card Focus on the sentinent.

belated bday dog

Al tho I make lots of cards, I often forget to send them , so sometimes really do need belated birthday cards. Here’s a belated card made using colors from this week’s Color Throwdown and the cue Bounce from Casologhy . I think the digital stamp is from bugaboo digital stamps because its i marked it with bb , but couldn’t find one on the bugaboo stamp site. I do think it looks like many of the Bugaboo dogs.

Today I’mm making note cards with the AAA cards challenge One corner plus music using the colors of Color Throwddown . This cute digital stamp is an old one from Tiddly inks, this image is perfect since the houses look like they are made with music sheets. I noticed the digi is called is Harmony at home . When i went to the Tiddy inks blog i noticed they have a ATC fun challenge so I made an atc using the same image and sentiment.

Another Valentines day another Bugaboo Valentine EWE. I have purchased the the Bugaboo ewes for several holidays since they are sooooo cute but this ones was free!!!!

The heart background is done with a Carabelle studio embossing envelope.

90th birthday buzz

Today is mom’s 90th birthday so i put a recent picture. on honeycomb embossed card stock fo a Happy Birthday Mom dcard. Since the family calls her Bea , we like giving her and refering to her aS BEE. , When we discovered this huge bee, we had to take picture of the two bees together. The colors in the picture are mostly yellow and Navy( ok just blue) so I’m putting this in the Less is More 8th birthday challenge. She loves the card with our good wishes inside.

water for 2019

Here is my 1st post for year 2019 , this note card is for the Less is More challenge water. Its time to start posting with not much going on this week, since all the Christmas and new years stuff out of the way. This digi is from Bugaboo stamps and is a tulip jar… it uses a lot of water both in and out of the jar!
