Buds and petals for you

The less is More theme for two weeks is ‘Buds or Petals -one layer’. I love b buds more than petals especially roses, and I’m sure its because my first prom corsage included tiny baby pink rose buds. O how I reallyloved it and it was in the refrigerator for months after the prom was over. I used a digital stamp for the flowers and put a pink color band across it to simply color the bud.

Africa giraffe

Casology’s cue this week is Africa and my favorite African stamps(I only have a few) are giraffes. This one from A Day for Daisies is so large we only get peek at its head and very little of its neck, I love the feeling that the giraffe is so large it wont fit into the frame, it looks like hes eating so thought I’d join him for lunch.

Welcome babygirl fairy

Two challenges this morning – Casology cue Plastic using the wonderful colors from Color Throwdown, great for a baby girl card. The digi is labeled babyfairy , you can kinda see the fairy wings behind her but you can’t see that I applied Stickles on them. The hot-pink is in her dress and bow, the green is on her rattle, shoes and pacifier . A little bit of blue is framing her body. I’m pretty sure Plastic is in her pacifier and star-rattle!

chocolate dots and stripes

What a bright day it is here is in southern. California, finally the raincold has stopped for a while , I hope,. Sieze the birthday this time, is Dots and stripes so I put dots and stripes on a birthday cake, chocolate of course… I don ‘t have any one in mind for this card but birthdays come around so fast.

St Patricks 3 shamrocks

The Less is More recipie this fortnight is take three . Dont you love this cute leprechaun taking 3 shamrocks, to wish us a happy St Patrick’s day, since tomorrow is the holiday and i m using The Bugaboo St Patrick’s day ewe digi I love soooo much. (Is it cheating that I’m choosing to ignore the shamrock on his hat since the cue is Take 3, i hope not. I used this digi three years ago click here to see it.

mushroom thanks

While walking in my neighborhood the other day i saw intere3sting toadstools near the sidewalk and the Color Throwdown colors reminded of them so i got my a Day for Daisies digi and used those colors for a card. I’d include pictures of the toadstools but they look really ugly.
