stickle beetle
The cue for Casology this week is insect . Heres’ a a beetle with a watercolor background and Stickles on his body to resemble the flashy beetles Ive seen in museums. I made two cards, one with a get well theme and the other ‘just a note’ using a smaller image mounted on a green card. I like all beetles, the group. my favorite spelled a little different, and of course the white bug vw i had as a teenager!

Here is my last entry to this week’s Mojo Monday. I used my Verve- Rise and Shine digital stamp set and a pretty designer paper.
i was so busy to get this up i forgot to say what mojo monday meant to me… i love having something to do every monday morning … and my sister really enjoyed looking and commenting on them. i won one ot the contests and its so exciting to be lucky enough to win a drawing! yea
the sketches were wonderful thanks MOJO monday.
pink unicorn birthday
Today’s Less is More challenge is the colors of Neapolitan. I love the chocolate , but the strawberry and vanilla better tasting since chocolate ice cream is usually not a full chocolate flavor for me. I colored the Spyders corner unicorn stamp image, pink with brown grass, then added stickles to the tail and mane.
reaching fairy
Yesterday’s Less is more theme is Shimmer, how about the shimmer of fairy wings? i thought, so i grabbed my ‘A day for daisies’ reaching fairy, colored the image and added Stickels to add shimmer to her wings and dress.

its Friday and ill do two challenges this afternoon the sketch from Tuesday morning sketches and the colors of Color throwdown. the image is from A day for daisies. and its my favorite subject, a frog.
balloons and gift
Here is an entry for two challenges – the sketch form Mojo Monday and the Casology cue loud. The sketch is close but not exact( or maybe no one but me thinks so). The Casology clue LOUD has to do with popping balloons. I’ve blown and made enough balloon animals to remember the noises whem squishing and loud pop when if are old or I’ve given them too much air!

Today’s Less is more theme is geometric.. tried a playing with shapes and, until this one, all my trials looked too busy. i like beehive hexagonal so here’s my card.
happy Mother’s day chickens
The day before Mother’s day seems like a good time to create a mother’s day card. The Less is More theme today is spots and stripes one layer. I love paper piecing especially using papers with spots or stripes. The stamp is from Tiddly links.
The top card is a general purpose….. always need a few of those and the next is the one for Mothers day(yes i know i left the ” off the card…. oh well).
congrats for rose
The Casology challenge today is commencement (congrats). I needed a card for a cousin and i really like this ewe stamp cause he’s so cute. and ewe is such a fun play on words. I like to send graduation cards in the school colors so the card includes the colors maroon and white. The stamp is from Bugaboo digital stamps.
Lemonade&vodka
This Saturday morning I attended a party with many friends to celebrate 75th anniversary of the founding of Court Our Lady of Victory ,my Catholic Daughter court . I’ve been a member for 16 years, but several members have 50+ years in this great national service organization.. Just a few months ago we lost Mary, our last charter member.
Now I’m home and ready to enter the Less is more color challenge– yellow and grey. By the way i like lemonade without vodka but i really liked this sentiment.
