checked chickens

Two challenges – the sketch is Tuesday morning sketches and check it out(checks) challenge is from Everybody Art Challenge. Ive always thought checks seem to goo with farm/chicken scenes so her is a picture I took at my sisters farm rooster.

The rooster stamp is Stampin’ up, the design cut with spellbinder nesties and the 3 lines done with a score pal… i forgot the 3 dots today… isn’t it always something. heres the sketch

gone to beach

Its Penny Black Saturday and I’m late… I usually get up early and make a card and blog early, but didn’t get up so soon this morning since my son’s chihuahua and my chihuahua seemed to be playing most of the night. I finally finished, the challenges are Penny Black Saturday ‘beach’ theme and the sketch from Sketch Frenzy Friday. The chair, sun and sand are Stampin’ up cut and embossed with spellbinders nestie, and the frog is of course Penny Black. A yellow ribbon , dew drops and a dollar Michaels “gone to the beach” finish the card.

Darrels birthday card

its a day late but here’s Darrel’s birthday card, it looks kind of young but to me 33 seems very young. the only stamp is the hb the plane and clouds are a paper I’ve been keeping probably for this. I still like to say my son the pilot!

1 2 3 butterfly

its penny black Saturday and i need more pb stamps… this butterfly is a great stamp so I’ve use3d it too much. the challenge wast 1 circle, two papers,three flowers… think I’m close. the gentle thoughts is Stampin up and the circles cut with spellbinders.

July ChristmasCrab

Another Christmas in July but my sister suggested it being really about July…

so i wanted to use this the crab for Stampin ups Crab and company so here he is in Redondo Beach beach with his Santa hat. the sketch is from Tuesday morning sketches#10. and the frames are spellbinders.

Keep It Sipmle Sweetie….

Today seems to be KISS Wednesday, keep it Simple Sweetie is Stampin’ Royalty theme and Simplicity’s One Layer Wonder challenge was to use an outline stamp with minimum coloring in a square card, i think this does both. the set is stampin up Asian Artistry i wasnt sure about the birds color i made two which one do you like best?

(ps i remember when kiss was keep it simple stupid… guess that’s not nice).

splash

at Stampin’ Royalty the theme was splash and i know i did this just a few weeks ago but i like the image so here it is in different colors, Ii chalked the image, cuttlebuged the image and a scalloped frame and attached it to some background papers and frames. both stamps are Stampin up.

Lavender Festival 2010

I was at the lavender festival in Sequim last week and didn’t make any cards, it not easy getting started agtain…
