frog in snow

Let it snow let it snow let it snow…. that’s easy to say when it was 80 outside yesterday… but snow is the theme of the Penny Black Saturday challenge.. and i couldn’t find my penny black winter stamps today…. maybe i need to clean mu stamp room?

The frog is Penny black, the snowglobe ,flakes , and ‘joy’ are Stampin up. The background paper is from a stack.. i like snow cards better than snow.

i added a ribbon to it for mojo monday… is it better?

Pumpkin wagon

Happy fall again… the election s over and it time to be thinking of fall, thanksgiving and then Christmas… I love this Stampin up stamp, it s from a set and this is my favorite….maybe cause fall is my favorite season maybe not. I stamped and chalked it then masked the area with a scrap and sponged inck around the area to ‘frame’ it…

Guess it s time for Christmas cards two challenges today…toptip tuesday and Everybody art challenge today have that as a theme… therefore this card is for the first day of Christmass… I love this Stampin up stamp and I love quitefire design script for all its sentiments… it cut with spellbinder nesties and embossed in gold with a background paper… lot of steps and a card i think is a beauty.

bkack white red rose

this is for One LayerWonder- whats black and white and red all over and every body art challenge,…. although its stamped on linen paper you cant really see the texture. the stamps are Stampin up and the image is embossed, Ii sponged the color ,and added the sentiment, simple, and one layer only!

barn from window

Well, Im not too sure about this. the TMS #65 challenge sketch is shown below and instead of cutting the picture in 9ths, Ii put slats in found to be kinda like a window… didi it work, i lost a lot of the image. the image is one Ive used a bunch from Stampin up and chalked for color. it does seem a lot like autumn.

Happy birthday roxi

I want to the greatest party yesterday. Melissa invited her friends and dogs to a birthday Barbecue she had a largte3 area fenced in so it was a dogie free for all, What a great time, burgers, chips, drinks and doggies running everywhere. my two Sisi and Bella fit right in , there were Yorkshires, chihuahuas, dachshunds… and???don’t remember the rest..

my Bella had her birthday Friday and there was another birthday dog and another Bella at the party, so many little dogs… so many birthdays, so little time to enjoy it all!

fall foliage

The One Layer Challenge this week was flowers and bees and birds use two so I picked the poppy and a bee…..

The bee and flower are Stampin up the sentiment is Stampendous and the embossing is cuttlebug. u chalked the pics.

….. the trees and leaves are Stampin’ up the words stamp in the hand.

Halloween treat bags

Trick or Treat, smell my feet. Give me something good to eat! is the Tuesday Morning sketches challenge this week.. and treats for Halloween was the challenge at the creative cottage.. and although I’m quick making cards other crafts seem to make me stop and think… i know its two days late!!! i got this treat bag from split coast stampers and here are three of them. the cat is penny black and the pumpkins are Stampin up. now i just have to make lots more and fill them.

olw- heavy metal leaf

Today the one layer wonder challenge was heavy metals… so i used my copper embossing to highlight the leaf and sentiment( from Stampin up). It beginning to look a lot like fall.
