less hummer

I guess it’s one layer day. I did such a smuggy Job on the humming bird yesterday I thought I’d try another today.  The less is more challenge was the sketch below. i stamped the humming bird, chalked it then masked and then over stamped the ribbon of ink.   (see the one layer wonder below that.)

daisy or sunflower?

The theme of cupcake inspirations was daisy and today I felt like daises  and   have a marks finest paper daisy waiting to use so i stamped it, colored it with a promarker marker  ripped it out,and then pasted it on a cuddlebugged  sheet and then stamped that with a Stampin’ up birthday sentiment and here it is!  However now that I look at it again it appears like a sunflower, think I colored it wrong(like a sunflower)…. my next daisy will be different! since Everybody art challenge was birthdays… this fit so i did this challenge too. opps….is really is a sunflower… sorry marks fp,  sorry cupcake ins, sorry blog visitors.

my hex

The one layer challenge was to come up with a hex. I was fascinated by the Amish or Pennsylvania dutch as a child but never make it to the east coast to visit their attractions…maybe someday, however today we were challenged to come up with a hex… so my includes frogs(who’d thought?) and hearts.  i embossed a circle with a spellbinder circle, then chalked it pink , then stamped some frogs, a Stampin’ up double line doodle and added punched hearts.
