sand pipers

Stampin b’s challenge is a beach scene with sand… and Everybody Art Challenge is to use shape.  The stamp set is ‘shore thing’   includes sandpipers, sun and sand stamps by Stampin’ up.  The sun stamp was stamped in orange then stickles was added to glitter it.  Then the sand stamp was used  several times to make the scene.  Cut with a nestability and mounted on craft paper that was sand stamped several times too.

picnic aunt

Just couldn’t get this finished yesterday the sketech is from Tuesday morning sketches  (.. see  below..)  and the theme from My Time to Craft – A La Carte  ‘We would like to see work that has food of some sort on please! That is why I chose this cute smmer ant.   The frames are cut with  spellbinders nesties (and if you look close you can see  i embossed them backwards in case you ever wondered what putting the rubber on the wrong side would do).  The ant and mellon  are colored with chalk.  I then added the checkered paper, of course, for the checkered tabelcloth feel..   yea summer watermelon eating season!

Its Penny Black Saturday challenge and today’s challenge is favorite stamp- if you could take one stamp to a Desert Island what one could you not do without… its hard to pick just one  favorite but today it would be  the frog with the hat colored with chalk and the hat flowers are spicklled.- love the sparkle it adds.  The circle frame cut with spellbinders the little flower strip  from DCWV citrus pack.

June lemon

When life gives you lemons make a  lemon card… the Mojo sketch is below,  the idea came from the  Penny Black at Allsorts    – lemon, lime(altho I think they meant color).   The stamp is from Stampin  up and the frames cut with Spellbiners, added a Martha Stewart  punched leafs,  tied ribbon to the corner  and added  3 yellow dew drops in the top right corner.  I took the picture on my lemon tree in the back yard., want some lemon ade?
