June lemon

When life gives you lemons make a  lemon card… the Mojo sketch is below,  the idea came from the  Penny Black at Allsorts    – lemon, lime(altho I think they meant color).   The stamp is from Stampin  up and the frames cut with Spellbiners, added a Martha Stewart  punched leafs,  tied ribbon to the corner  and added  3 yellow dew drops in the top right corner.  I took the picture on my lemon tree in the back yard., want some lemon ade?

Happy birthday mom

Its mom’s birthday, and with a nickname Bea she gets a lot of bees and flowers from me, so here’s a bee for Bea.  The embossing is cuttlebug, the flower Stampin up chalked and the bee punched from Martha Stewart.  I love all white cards but  thought this needed the flower and bee stripes colored…

I’m entering this in the flourishes  challenge from my time to craft   and the girly challenge from Tip Top Tuesday, and although the stamens are yellow hope this fits into the Less is more challenge too(use pink and black and white).

This is a day late for Tuesday morning sketches challenge (.see sketch below).  The image is  the free digital image  featured this month from Some odd girl digi .  I chalked the image and used a Martha Stewart punch to get the nice star borders on the background images.   Since  the Tip top tuesday is anything goes ill enter this in that too!

for Helen

I’m going to a funeral today so made this beautiful card for Joe, the husband of a good friend who died last week.  Helen was so pleasant to be around, I loved seeing her and Joe and the smiles they always had.   Helen was very generous and ready to help when needed and fun to be around  . She will be missed by her family and everyone who knew her.

Happy birthday America

Its almost the forth of July so I have my patriotic stamps  and stars of course out on the stamp table so  a Penny Black red white and blue theme challenge seems about right.  I bayered a red stripe on g-rated glossy linen, added stars (Stampin up)  and the Penny black butterfly, America from print works print works and the  star punches at the bottom Martha Stewart.   Looks kind of patriotic. I almost forgot i glued blue strip under the punching so the start on the bottom would be visible.  This card also  is entered in the Happily ever crafter challenge. enter if you have a red white and blue entry!

Happy 4th!
