silver cards

silvrcardsw2I was doing Valentine’s and liked the design of the card on the right so thought

I’d do a birthday card too.   I saw the idea of using  silver tape from the hardware store and then cuttlebug emobossing it on a piece of stiff cardboard.  the idea is from the Dec/Jan Stampers Sampler which I get every other month.

The stamps are stampin up,  embossed with cuttlebug  a2 envelopes both the silver and the backgrounds and then added ribbon.

Paul’s birthday

paulfebday2Happy birthday Paul.

tried to produce a garden card but not so sure. Since he lives in Washington, the apples and garden gloves fit the theme.

The stamps are Stampin up,  the background and frame are cuttlebug envelopes.

The picture is watercolored with twinkling h2o’s.

a frog for all seasons

frogncanThe stamp set is stampin up flower for all seasons, so this must be a frog for all seasns.  The think.. is a stampendous stamp and the frame was cut from Label 1 nestabilities cuts.   The background is a green polka dot paper , don’t know the origin and the ribbons were added for color. This must be another general for when I need it card.

belated birthday rabit

bbdaywThere are times it gets past the birthday and you need a belated card I’ve always like the late rabbit so I decided to use it with some leftover background paper that i did a while back. I cut the background with a spellbinder nestability and embossed the edges on the background and rabbit. The candles are cuttlebug template and the stamp set is Stampin up.   Love that rabbit!

8 Maids a milking

8 maids

8 maids

One more in the series.  I love this cow stamp from the Michaels 1$ stamp bin.      It was masked and stamped 8 times, the spacing was done with the G-rated ruller/bar.. Although its smuged the ‘8 maids’ is a Penny black, the green at the bottom is cuttlebuged embossed.
