raspberry

raspberry.jpgI love raspberries, they are my favorite fruit. In July when I go to Sequim Washington, I make sure I go to Greymarsh  berry farm and pick raspberries.  I think i put more in my stomach than in my basket and even so it so much less than buying them in a southern California grocery  store. Last time I picked i also took pictures.  and now am able to make tasty cards.

Lavender

lavendarcard11.jpg

I Couldn’t decide what this would be for so it can make into a thank-you, thinking of you or birthday when I choose. Don’t know where I got the stamp but I’ve seen them in several stores.

Purple Haze 2

purple-haze-21.jpgWhen I go to the Sequim Washington Lavender Festival  and usually volunteer at Purple Haze Lavendar farm. The white tent in the picture is where we sell badges for entrance to the Festival. The lavender is all around and the Gift shop is the tall building in the back. The gift  shop is great with the best lavender dressing.

purple haze 1

purplehaze1.jpg

Every year I go to the Lavender Festival in Sequim Washington. My sister Caron and my favorite farm is Purple Haze here is my first card form picture taken there.

In case you’re interested the Lavender Festival is an opportunity to tour several lavender farms and see all things lavender.  Its pick your own lavender, sample food with lavender as an ingredient and make lavender crafts. One can also brush up on everything  lavender; how many varieties there are, how to grow it, how to distill it if you want to make your own perfume or soap….  The purple fields and a sight to behold.  Its a great middle of July trip!
