surfin-santa-18.1 The Less is More challenge this week is One layer Holiday. My entry uses the Tropical Santa from bugaboo , its so California or maybe just tropical like his name. I added a layer to the surfboard with flowers(below).

Thanksgiving 2018

turkey-b-friday I love thanksgiving, the family the fall stuff the eating and every few years it my birthday too. So happy birthday and happy turkey to me and you, here’s a cute turkey wishing everyone a happy thanksgiving or as he put it this year ‘day before black friday’. Color Throwdown colors were used!

The challenge i entered this week is the Casology cue -glass. I was over at Bugagoo digi stamps and got this wonderful digi, colored it, cut it out then attached it to burgandy card stock ,then added stickles to glitter the highlights. what a fun GLASS card!

marie-party-tbl I was making some thank you cards for Marie, and the CASology cue – complement fits my choice to put a picture from the party as part of the thanks. The picture is of one of the fun, beautiful tables , she puts together to make grand table settings in her beautifully gardened backyard.

Spooky pumpkin 2018

It’s been a while so today I’m entering 3 challenges – Becky’s Place challenge Spooky, Casology SCARY using the coiors of Color Throwdown. The digital stamp is a freebie from Becky’s Place… a little coloring and pasting on a black card( but a black card is hard to see in a picture), its starting to feel like fall( not really I live in Southern California.

Fuchsia thanks

Sep 18 boy with plane

boy-with-plane-sep-18 I’ve paper pieced a card for this week’s Casology cue BOY...

This ‘A Day for Daisies’ stamp of a boy with plane has always reminded me of my youngest son’s love for planes since he was an infant. And believe it or not, he is a major airline pilot now. I am now wondering if I really did enjoy his playing with flight toys as a young boy.
