The Less is more recipe this fortnight is small images so here’s my card, perfect for a new little girl . such a cute A vDay for Daisies image and i had the sentiment so its not my own. The image including the sentiment is 1 7/8 by 1 3/4 inches, not tinny but within 2 inches. I made another one for a boy with the image under 1 1/4 in.

The Casology cue card this fortnight is Citrus Here is a digital stamp i kinda like marked AC creative, and like many of my digib samps, i don’t know when i got it or the source . This picture was taken in my lemon tree which has no ripe lemons only green ones at this time.

dotted daisies 2019

The Less is More this fortnight is One layer card- spots (dots???) so I’m using one of my favorite digies from A day for Daisies named “Darsie window “. looks like it needed purple polka dots for its centers and since this is a less entry i got rid of the window!. Thank you cards are always in fashion and needed. I made one more card for the AAA challenge Corner with flower twist…. didn’t add the sentiment for this one.

Unicorn Pinata

I’m entering two challenges Seize the Birthday, and Color Throwdown . When I saw the CT colors immediately they reminded me of a pinata so i had the chance to use this digital stamp from Craftin Desert Divas . Is it not perfect for a unicorn lover’s birthday? For this card I didn’t use the included ” Have a smashing birthday” but decided to use my own “big hit”, they both fit.

flip flops june 2019

It a very hot day today so I’m making a summery card using a beach items. The stamp is from Design2Delight Beach Bucked Flip flops. This fortnight’s Less is More theme used colors duck egg , plumb, and white so I used then on this card. The first card i made included the colored sand and a border but took them out since this is a card with less. Which one do you like best?

Although its not June yet the casology challenge this week is summer so i used one of my first digital stamps at the beach from Wax Fruit Company. Its a simple image including three umbrellas a little water,sand and sky. I grabbed the sentiment from the internet.

I’m so happy. Less is more showcased me an d this is my 2nd card for this weeks Less is More beverage challenge. This is for AAA one third with color and and Casology colors too. . This Graciellie design ‘Brew like a boss’ set is where the stamp and sentiment are from. I’m including the picture of ice tea below. what summertime ice beverage do you prefer?

Today it’s raining but I’m sure, very soon Southern Californians will be in the sun drinking their favorite soft beverage , Ice tea. What’ s a better drink on a warm day than a mason jar with cold sweet, lemoned ice tea?

Buds and petals for you

The less is More theme for two weeks is ‘Buds or Petals -one layer’. I love b buds more than petals especially roses, and I’m sure its because my first prom corsage included tiny baby pink rose buds. O how I reallyloved it and it was in the refrigerator for months after the prom was over. I used a digital stamp for the flowers and put a pink color band across it to simply color the bud.
