Guess summer is almost over and its autumn is starting…. but it still feels like summer here. This entry for the ‘Less is More’ metallic… i used goldish for the chickens collar and stitch lines. and Becky’s Place colors and one of her digital french hens. glad i was looking thru my stamps since the hens will be perfect for future 12 days….. challenges.

Sep frog note

Three challenges today… the Casology ‘LOL’, the AAA challenge sketch plus optional twist- animal, and finally. the colors of this weeks Color Throwdown were used on cream card stock ( along with frog green). I sure hope LOL is also for Smile out loud since i think the frog with balloons is simile-able but not necessarily laughable. Altho I love it, haven’t used this favorite ‘A day for Daisies frog and balloon digi in over two years. Just in case you want to see it, HERE is the link to the frog balloon card i made and posted two years ago. I noticed the balloons are done with similar colors and froogie’s bloomers are pink polka dots too. I’ll use several of these cards… would you?

Boatboy welcome

Two challenges today using the colors of Color Throwdown, and the Casology cue WATER. Since my Mom needs a baby boy card, it was created using water cue and the CT colors. Did you notice it’s in the shape off a onesie.

Summer jasmine breeze

I can and do get very literal when a clue lets me , so today I”m doing the AAA Cards challenge – Along the edge inspired by a song. A great summertime lyric are the Seals & Croft Summer Breeze lyrics.. using them over an old Jasmine stamp along the edger is just right!. Its a good ‘;thinking of you this summer card.

cac tus and sky

…Just one entry today using this week;s Color throwdown blue yellow green and kraft. I used a kraft card. The stamped cactus and background sky were s colored then cut out and pasted to the card.

Tang wildflowers

The Less is More this week is the colors tangerine aqua and white, so iI grabbed my Gracielillidesigns wildflower bouquet stamp and used those colors, and a little green for the leaves, and yellow for seeds.

djs birthday 2019

Time flies, as I make birthday cards it doesn’t seem like a year between them, especially my son’s birthdays. Today i used a nice stamp from my new est set of cactus stamps . Putting a pretty sunset as a background made a great birthday card. the didgi is from Tiddly inks, its entered in Seize the Birthday – toppings flowers and for a different type of flowers I chose ones on cactus.

Small bug 2019

Two challenges this hot summer morning, The first entry for the small images challenge from Less is More. Small is a kind of easy challenge and a small ladybug is just about right. I like outside backgrounds, but It’s so difficult for me to show the shimmer in the blue behind with an outside picturevso I’m including and inside photo below. The glitter is done with Stickles for the Shimmer Casology challenge. The little bug is part of an A day for Daisy digital stamp Ladybug Hello(minus the girl saying hello to the ladybugs! )
