Happy birthday America

Its almost the forth of July so I have my patriotic stamps and stars of course out on the stamp table so a Penny Black red white and blue theme challenge seems about right. I bayered a red stripe on g-rated glossy linen, added stars (Stampin up) and the Penny black butterfly, America from print works print works and the star punches at the bottom Martha Stewart. Looks kind of patriotic. I almost forgot i glued blue strip under the punching so the start on the bottom would be visible. This card also is entered in the Happily ever crafter challenge. enter if you have a red white and blue entry!

The theme of Simplicity’s challenge is Patriotic so here’s two stamps in red white and blue and i put stickles on the stars..The words are by Judikins and the stars are Printworks . happy forth this Sunday.

Dots and cake

The stamp is from Stampin’ ups birthday bliss, the dots card is from a set by ‘the paper studio’, the scalloped punch is Martha Stewart plus a bow tied by me. one can never make enough birthday cards. The two challenges are Geburtsdtag(birthday) and the Tuesday Morning sketch seen here .

frog n quilt

It’s penny black Saturday so my Penny black frogs usually come out.

the theme was paper quilt and i had a dcwv paper that is from the craft stack ans seems sewn together

The frog is pb chalked an cut out wirth a nestie. i added punched buttons but you can barely see them over the ones already printed. i cuttlebuged a stitch at the right side… i kind of like itl

Daisy collage

oh my i awoke and went to the blogs and saw that Theme Thursday was a collage and Cute Card Thursday was to reuse something so I could make one card to fit both themes. Ive always like this Stampin up set … so i stamped it, tore the edges and put a purple frame behind it , then added some pretty daisy stamps i got on a package from my sister…. a few daises and ‘gentle thoughts of you’ for the Stampin up set and here it is Garden collage.

pink and green oh la la

The everybody art challenge was to use pink and green, (my Colors ) and I needed a Frenchish birthday card for Olivia who will be going to France soon, so oh la la here it is! The grapes are Stampin up and the french bird is Penny Black( and i so love this stamp). You cant really see it but the background paper is embossed with words. and then a couple of pink robins nest dots and the card is finished.

feet in water

Here’s mojo monday template, but I’m still thinking about the Penny black challenge to do something vacation summery and thought of this stamp but it wasn’t pb so i did a summer theme with a Penny black masked on top of another stamp. Today I’ll use the summer stamp i was thinking about for Mojo Monday. It’s from Stampin’ up’s ‘Summer by the sea’, i bet the stamp thought it would never be used since Ive owned it for several years and today is the day. As my usual coloring is chalk and the pink squigle is a nestie spellbinder cut.

simple tools

i updated the card with a border and put the happy fathers day on the top… i like it better…….

This was for two challenges Stampin Royalty Masculine card and Simplicity’s add a flourish. maybe its not enough, the stamp is stampin up I tried adding more but it just cluttered the card. (can you believe this is the 4th try and i give up…The flourish is three square brads…. not enough i think.but maybe it is… says happy fathers on the inside.

Tea step tuesday
