anything but a card day

I know it’s two days late but the Stampin’ Royalty challenge this wednesday was anything but a card. These are covers for post-it notes that make a nice little gift. They are stamped on vellum (I tried craft paper and cardstock but that broke when folded over and over). I then cuttlebuged the thanks and stamped the su flower or just stamped the bird cage. They are fastened with a small amount of Velcro… the edges done with special edged scissors. to ‘hide’ the Velcro the bird is colored from behind and the gem was added.

tms handmade flowers

The Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge was handmade flowers and I made one but it stuck out farther than iI like on that card so decided to go with punched flowers, vase and swirls added a background paper and an embossed happy birthday-easy yes pretty too. KISS(keep it simple sweetie).

Bella ssd

My son is letting me watch his puppy while he’s busy and she is such a good dogie friend to her sister my dog Sisi. As you might imagine with two dogs of approx the same age and same size, they play play play and play!!! My SiSi has chewed on fewer shoes since Bella is here keeping her busy and sort of out of some trouble.

sew lion

Its Saturday morning and I pulled out my penny black stamps and had a lion , i want to use again since it reminds me of my dad, he was a Leo and loved Lion images. This week, I’ve been meaning to do a card for the sewing madness from Stampin Royalty challenge so here is a combo card, the flower paper is dcwv and the stitching at the side of the card are cuttlebuggted.

striped scraps

Mojo Monday and the sketch was to use scraps. The stamp is penny black and many of the edges are either Stampin’ up or Martha Stewart punches.

The thanks is for a great party held at Rajin Cajun in Hermosa Beach to celebrate and watch the food channels food truck competition. The food was outstanding and g entertainment was great and I’m sending a thank you…. wish they would have won the competition.

texture flowers

I used the splitcoaststampers technique crimped diamonds to get the background and added 3 Stampin up’ punched flowers and a stamp from Michaels dollar bin… (i have so many more expensive stamps but find myself using those more and more) for leaves. A lot of texture this morning. the handmadeflowers are for everybody art challenge.

Its the Tuesday after Labor day and here’s my day late entry for Mojo Monday. How perfect a frog, and a tag, perfect. The stamp is penny black the tag stampin’ up cut with a Stampin’ up punch and the circle, cut with spellbinder, with an added ribbon and bow. cute huh?
