Asian collage
It’s just another monday, and the challenges today are an Asian inspiration for Cupcake Inspirations
see below
and the Marks Finest Paper challenge was to collage. All the stamped images and sentiment are from MFP, the oval cut is a spellbinder.
Happy tax day.
Bella in flowers
My youngest chihuahua in flowers using the Skipping stones design template(below) flowered embossed paper, a tied yellow ribbon , three small punched flowers and a wonderful picture of Bella in the flowers.
spring chihuahua 1
It’s chihuahua time again! The challenges are 1. green tan and white for Play Date Cafe and 2. use a square(picture) oval(ish?cuttlebug frame) and circles (in the top left corner) for Stampin’B’s. I know I took some artistic license but it feels OK and I get to show off my eldest chihuahua Sisi cute huh?
Bunny and chicks
Its Saturday morning and its time for my Penny Black Challenge card… another Easter card and today i chose a rabbit and chicks and water colored it instead of chalk. Cut the background with the spellbinder nesties added then embossed cuttlebug dots to the blue background, added a purple strip to bring out the colors in the basket. the sentiment is Stampin up, cute huh? Commenter Heidi suggested I enter this in the ABC DT challenge so I did that too!
Raspberries?
How perfect a One Layer Wonder challenge to use pink and green and a new(actually never been inked) stamp. I really love pink and green together, and I buy lots more stamps than I use so here it is! I love this stamp but is is titled blackberries and it should be raspberries(my favorite fruit), so i colored it pink and it does look more black than raz…… oh well.. (i have a Stampin’ up raspberry but Ive used it.)so Marks finest paper stamps the image and the sentiment wins and we can pretend its raspberries can’t we?
pointing to spring
I’ve had this Fiscars arrow punch a long time and this morning the Tuesday Morning sketch (below)s had an arrow so I had to use it! The flower image is Stampin’ up This card also for My Time to Craft using dots and Top Tip Tuesday spring. Happy Tuesday!
Easter Message
Just one more- for Less is More. the theme is the sentiment. I cuttlebuged the frame then stamped the stampin up sentiment in the middle put chalk on the embossing, then added dots. Maybe less is less.
one of the comments suggested I didn’t need the color on the embossing… and since i really like all white cards I thought I’d re do it without the extra color… and i do like it better., thanks Mandi.
