Its been a dry week, not only no rain but I just didn’t feel like carding…but its ended this morning. This card is for two challenges Mark’s finest Papers -flowers and the Less is More challenge is monochrome – I chose yellow. The stamps- bee and flower, sentiment are from Marks. Stamped the bee on another yellow piece of paper and used high dots to glue it on

fathers day

rats, can’t find my fathers day sentiment stamps so this sentiment will have to do. the one layer wonder challenge today was fathers day and I’m not ready…. maybe ill find the fathers day stamps before fathers day… and then again maybe not. The stamps are stampin up. This works fro stampin b’s designmasculine challenge black, brown and another color.

Summer frog

It’s time for the Less is More challenge see below- we were to pick a square and i guess fill it in… its the start of summer so it should start with a frog and ice cream cone, byenny Black chalked for color. the card with its embossed dots and frame is from a set by dcwv.

one layer chihuahuas

Sorry if you missed me- (actually sorry if you didn’t) for the past several days I was at a Catholic Daughters convention and not near a computer or internet. I made this card before I left but didn’t have time to post it.. the one layer wonder challenge was dog- so here is the perfect Magenta stamp with 3 dogs and I’m sure they are chihuahuas since between my mom and me we have 3 chihuahuas. the words are from Paula best.

purple butterflies

the Penny Black challenge was clean and simple, the butterfly is that so did it 3 times with masking then added the sentiment, boxed it in with ink and a bow in the corner… clean and simple.

frog on box

This is for 4 challenges –

Stampin B’s design T- texture, G-green, I-irridecent & F- for anything f which would be frogs for me.

The tag design is from Skipping stones and the colors green purple and grey form the Play Date Cafe.

The stamp is Penny Black and the edgs of the tags are distressed so that is the last but not least challenge. The circle cut with spellbinder and the wild paper DCWV from a pack, the purple was put thru a cuttlebug for the dots and the tags were punchedand then tied with bows.

flowers and scallops

Looking at the challenges it must be scallop and flower day. Everybody Art challenge is flowers, My Time to Craft is scallops Tuesday morning sketches is below and Top Tip Tuesday is flower frenzy. the stamps are Verve and Marks finest papers , added a gold ribbon and a scallops behind the background and flower circle.
