hexagon bee
Today’s Less is More theme is a one layer Geometric Shapes or Patterns . i think of hexagons and a hexagon reminds me of bee hive so here’s my entry.
blue girl
The Less is more challenge today is White space but not WHITE so here is my entry.. The digi is from a day for daisies. Since this months One- layer simplicity challenge is as you with I’m entering there too!

lamb&dots
The Less is more theme today is polka dots…. here’s one more Easter card using a digital stamp from A Day for Daisies called lamb for Easter. I photoshop ed paper piecing and put the image on an embossed- with -dots card.
moms rose garden 2016
The Less is more challenge today is ‘What’s outside your window’ and since I’m at mom ‘s house today , her rose garden is a good subject. The digi is vintage cut roses from A day for Daisies ( to look like moms bush, I added a bunch of leaves since it only had 2 in the original digi).
This is my view having breakfast this morning..

here is the rose bush outside.

D&D Birthday wishes

The Less is more theme this week is One layer sentiment and i just cant think of a great sentiment so I’m having a problem with that and I decided to finally make my niece an nephew a belated birthday card. ( Yes they are twins and he’s really not that tan.) The image is from Bugaboo stamps and I think it might be a valentine card but it looked like teenage twins to me.
lemonslice thanks
I love my moms Meyer lemon tree and with the Less is More colour challenge today – is citrus, so I couldn’t help but think of lemons…. used an A day for daisy lemon slice digital stamp filled in colors added background splashes and a thank you. see the tree in the background.
Since less is more how about a lesser one? I don’t know if 4 less slices and no splach of lolor makes it better, does it?

wood hobby unicorns
This card is for three challenges this morning….The Less is More – add some texture, the colors of Color Throwdown , and the A Day for Daisies challenge add wood. I used one of ADFDs new stick horse digital! The digital stamp was colored in PS Elements, printed then cut out and pasted on a card with a piece of thin bark i picked up on a walk (not sure what trees throw off small patches of bark but this is from one of them.)

Thought I’d try this hobby horse unicorn using the sketch from Tuesday morning Sketches

pauls rooster
i
I missed my brother-in-law’s birthday so here’s his late card. I have been making rooster cards for him for years since when visiting my sisters home I loved seeing the chickens and roosters and Paul feeding them. It’s an A Day for Daisies image. I’m entering it in today’s Less is More ‘ include a stem’ one layer challenge since the rooster IS holding a flower stem.
Yellow Hibiscus valentine
It’s the day before valentines day so one more chance for a valentine or just friendly card, so on this beautiful southern California Saturday morning, I choose a wax fruit company digital hibiscus for the Less is More theme ‘include a stem’ one layer card. I hope the stem behind counts or maybe i can get away with just the stamen showing. This shady picture was taken on my hibiscus bush which has no flowers at the moment ( just leaves and leaf-stems.) I’ve this digi since the photo seems badly colored.

white thank yous 2016
I made three cards this morning an envelope emboss with words, a diecut positive and a die cut negative. Today’s Less is More challenge is colors-WHITE ON WHITE(Accents in metallic or B/W are perfectly acceptable). One always need thank you cards. The thank you is photoshopped, the emboss folder is from a Darcie envelope and can’t find and dont remember who made the quill die. since the card is clean and simple. it fits the allsorts challenge too!
