fingerpaint-add-color Two challenges this Wednesday morning using the ColourQ colors and the Casology cue art.. This is the only kind of art i ever participated in until i made cards…. although i guess cards are more craft than art. the stamp is from a day for daisies.

moms 2016 bday

bee&cake It’s my moms birthday and she is a bee(Bea) so here’s her bee and cake card using the colors from Color Throwdown . Altho the glitter the( Casology challenge ) looks awful in this picture, it looks better in person (in card?).

fall already??

is it fall already, sure feels like summer except the evenings are a little cooler i think…. boy its been a thot summer…

with the challenges of Casology- moon and the cas(e) this sketch sketch heres what i came up with a all themed card, even though its not quite fall! The digital stamp is fron Rick St Dennis, I’ve had it a few years and love it mostly in October!

plaid flowers in bottles

Theww challenges A Day for daisies challenge – add plaid, the Casology theme plaid using the colours of colourQ. I used and image form a day for daisies called flowers in a bottle. i just used plaid for the flowers.

frog in pussywillows

The One layer Simplicity challenge was ‘strip down’- make a one layer card using a strip, so I printed a strip photo of pussy willows to the side of a card, and added a digital frog image. Since the pussy-willows are in a marsh it makes the card aquatic and an entry in CASology. Me and frogs are close you know- see my banner…! The digital stamp is from A day for Daisies but i removed the flying frog’s wings ’cause i like him as a regular frog better.

lemon in pink and green

Three challenges today the A Day for Daisies use 3 patterned papers… i used 3 rows of lemons not sure if that counts and the colors of Color Throwdown… this lemonade stand is so summer! I’m also entering it into the CASology challenge story- this kinda of tells the story of me and my sister ‘making money’ selling lemonade on the curb outside our home in Whittier, of course we made money we didn’t pay for the lemon concentrate so it was all profit…. a couple of dollars in the 1950’s seemed like a lot… and it was! and speaking of stories, my sister and my hair hair is brown but blond fit the ct colors so used yellow for the hair.

a rose for mom

Two challenges today – the sketch from Tuesday morning sketches and the CASology cue- Ombre. if (you look closely at the rose and stem its light on the bottom and more colorful on top kinda ombre like) Ii used a vintage rose form A Day for Daisies, although the picture isn’t too good the rose is a beauty.
