bud&bugs 17
I’m entering two challenges this morning. Using the colors from Color Throwdown , and the Casology flow theme. The image is a Sami digital stamp- bud and ladybugs . I see the flow as the bud image going from the inside to the outside of the frame with one lady bug going to the sentiment..notice the ladybug that got away and is the O in the word 4‘you’!
bright &beautiful pansies
The AAA cards challenge this fortnight is Bright and Beautiful here is a photo of pansies with my Sami stamps pansy digital image using the Sami Digital stamps pansy image with colors of this photo. flowers are seasonal for this spring/summertime so this is also entered in Casology season challenge,
Teacup wishes
Here’s my entry for today’s Tuesday Morning sketches. I may use this for mothers day since I used a picture of my mom , sister and me in a teacup at Disneyland a few years ago. The background is a teacup image i bought from Etsy. it seams like the season for High teas, Mom and I attended one last Saturday and will be attending another next month.. so I am entering this card in the Casology challenge- seasons.

chocolate iced cake

Two challenges today, the Tuesday Morning Sketch and the cue from CASology icing. A little strip of paper, a cut out birthday wish, and a colored cake with candle from Bugaboo digital stamps. This is my favorite vanilla cake with chocolate icing yum!

cookie jar kid
Two challenges this morning the colors of Color Throwdown, the CASology cue Melt. Yes the melt is a stretch, but as the story goes in 1930, Ruth Wakefield was mixing a batch of cookies for her roadside Toll House Inn guests when she discovered that she was out of baker’s chocolate. She substituted broken pieces of Nestle’s semi-sweet chocolate, expecting it to melt and absorb into the dough to create chocolate cookies. That didn’t happen, but the surprising result helped to make Ruth Wakefield one of the 20th century’s most famous women inventors. When she removed the pan from the oven, Wakefield realized that she had accidentally invented “chocolate chip cookies.”
I put the recipe at the back of the cookie jar. the digital stamp is from A day for Daisies

LRK Bird of paradise
I liked the sketch a bunch so here is another Mojo Monday for this week. The stamp is from Local Rubber King stamps, the sketch MojoMonday. Since bird of paradise plants are more leaves than flower this fits this weeks . Casology foliage challenge.

3 heart girls
I like hearts, so its easy to make cards around Valentines day. The Casology challenge is YOUTH. Ive used an A Day for Daisy digital stamp with 3 young girls, then paper pieced their dresses and a heart background. The colors are from this weeks Color throwdown.

thinking.. pine-cone
The CASology challenge this week is forest, since I could not create a bunch of trees in a clean sketch(i tried), I decided to use a pine-cone digi from Sparkle and sprinkle.. Then glitter and a desertdiva sentiment thinking of you were added after coloring the digi image. Here’s my CASology entry.

flakey cold
The CASology theme this week is cold… for me it’s raining outside and altho not snow I think 55 so California degrees is cold. The embossed snowflakes make this A Day for Daisies penguinsandnowman digi look really cold! To compare here’s a similar card made in December with pattern emboss not snowflakes .
Christmas cards for 2016
It’s time to start making Christmas cards I found a coloring book manger at a pinterest site labeled free coloring pages nativity and am using that image. The AAA challenge is Christmas and the CASology challenge is space (lots of space around the simple image). I’m including two more cards with the manger image, one with music behind,

and one without
