reaching-fairy-17 Yesterday’s Less is more theme is Shimmer, how about the shimmer of fairy wings? i thought, so i grabbed my ‘A day for daisies’ reaching fairy, colored the image and added Stickels to add shimmer to her wings and dress.

balloons and gift

balloons-&-gift Here is an entry for two challenges – the sketch form Mojo Monday and the Casology cue loud. The sketch is close but not exact( or maybe no one but me thinks so). The Casology clue LOUD has to do with popping balloons. I’ve blown and made enough balloon animals to remember the noises whem squishing and loud pop when if are old or I’ve given them too much air!

happy Mother’s day chickens

The day before Mother’s day seems like a good time to create a mother’s day card. The Less is More theme today is spots and stripes one layer. I love paper piecing especially using papers with spots or stripes. The stamp is from Tiddly links.

The top card is a general purpose….. always need a few of those and the next is the one for Mothers day(yes i know i left the ” off the card…. oh well).

congrats for rose

ewecongrats-2017 The Casology challenge today is commencement (congrats). I needed a card for a cousin and i really like this ewe stamp cause he’s so cute. and ewe is such a fun play on words. I like to send graduation cards in the school colors so the card includes the colors maroon and white. The stamp is from Bugaboo digital stamps.

Lemonade&vodka

lemonade&vodka This Saturday morning I attended a party with many friends to celebrate 75th anniversary of the founding of Court Our Lady of Victory ,my Catholic Daughter court . I’ve been a member for 16 years, but several members have 50+ years in this great national service organization.. Just a few months ago we lost Mary, our last charter member.

Now I’m home and ready to enter the Less is more color challenge– yellow and grey. By the way i like lemonade without vodka but i really liked this sentiment.

bud&bugs 17

bud&bugs-17 I’m entering two challenges this morning. Using the colors from Color Throwdown , and the Casology flow theme. The image is a Sami digital stamp- bud and ladybugs . I see the flow as the bud image going from the inside to the outside of the frame with one lady bug going to the sentiment..notice the ladybug that got away and is the O in the word 4‘you’!

gold&purple-pansies17 It’s Mojo monday and since its the first of the month there will be lots of entries so I wanted to be quick. i used what was on the top of my dest so this looks like yesterdays card except it using the Mojo monday sketch. The pansies in frount are of course part of a photo and i made the background with a Sami digital stamp.
