ice teatime

The Less is More theme this week is one layer Favourite Drink / Beverage. My favorite drink is tea, both ice and cold but in a glass pitcher one can see the tea, and in cups it’s just the cups / and or teapot you see. Here’s a freebie from AJ stamps. I added glitter to the lemon and turned over the bottom to make it look like the picture is on glass.

thinking.. pine-cone

pinecone-think The CASology challenge this week is forest, since I could not create a bunch of trees in a clean sketch(i tried), I decided to use a pine-cone digi from Sparkle and sprinkle.. Then glitter and a desertdiva sentiment thinking of you were added after coloring the digi image. Here’s my CASology entry.

antique hello

antique-hello This morning’s AAA Cards challenge is ‘hello Here’s an antique looking image from a Day for Daisy’s ‘how can i direct your call’. I used challenge picture(below) to paper piece her dress into the digital image. Does the operator remind you of anyone? She reminds me of the TV show Laughin’s character Earnistine, harassing callers.

ombre red dress

ombre-red-dress Today’s Less is More challenge is ombre , maybe i made the color change too subtle since I wanted the dress to be really red and too much ombre would have had her dress really pink at the top. The image is Tinyfashinablepresent from A Day for daisies.

flakey cold

snowman-emb-flakes The CASology theme this week is cold… for me it’s raining outside and altho not snow I think 55 so California degrees is cold. The embossed snowflakes make this A Day for Daisies penguinsandnowman digi look really cold! To compare here’s a similar card made in December with pattern emboss not snowflakes .

Happy New Year 2017

ny2017-1 This new year’s Less is More theme is dimensions, and this weeks Cas-ual Fridays theme is celebrations so I used Auld Lang Syne words as a background with a happy 2017. the quill to write the 2017 is a die cut on glitter paper although it looks like white bleached dots instead of the sparkle it really is.
