Black and white bird

The CAS-ual friday challenge is create a clean and simple project that is only black and white. the paper is from a recollections stack… the bird is a Stampin up stamp.

odd birthday

Yea, simplicity one layer wonder is back… Susan was moving so it was on hold , love her cards, love her tips, love her blog! The theme this week is masculine birthday.. is tools too stereotype? Both stamps are from Stampin up… chalked, as usual i don’t like lots of white(cream) space so I usually add a penned frame, maybe it doesn’t fit the simplicity title if I neeeeeeed frames.(she hasn’t kicked me out so far)

hb music

For Jim’s birthday i was asked to do an opera theme and dont really have any opera stamps so i thought the music would be ok… im using todays Momo monday sketch.The paper is recollections nutcracker suite stack, i know its a ballet….( i didn’t include any nutcracker figures for this card, but will use them later.

Blue birds

The Less is more challenge is one layer birds and the Crafts4eternity color challenge was blues ,I stamped in blue, the stamp is Hampton art, then filled in with chalk and added a know on the corner.

Red and pink

Red and pink… always liked them together, and that the simplicity one layer Wednesday challenge this week… the stamp is Stampin up the pink is chalked. Since the stamp has a butterfly, this is for Case study too.

Lavender lavender

The Less is More challenge this week was color- purple... and I cant think of anything more purple than lavender… i colored the stamp with pens cut with a spellbinder border and added the hash lines with my scor-pal and a ribbon with a knot.

star celebration

This is for Penny Black Saturday (see case)and Allsorts pb – paper piecing. the stamp of course is penny black.. I pieced her dress and purse and then added punched stars and background paper , a Stampin’ up sentiment to celebrate and a blue frame.
