Retirement duckie
I know this looks like a baby card but its really a retirement card for someone who likes duckies (not ducks!). Father Brendan retired from our parish and went back to Ireland this weekend. He will really be missed, if you looked closely he had duckies on most of his sweaters and shirts…. so i make a card with duckies for his retirement. the Tuesday morning sketch was from a few weeks ago, i liked it but was too busy to make a card then. the blessings is Stampin up and the punched ducks cut with an EK punch, don’t have the maker of the duck stamp in the oval. The background duck paper wqs in my collection.
mojo 147 birthday
This is for Mojo 147challenge and a birthday card too. The sketch was not too easy and i tried to find small stamps and used several Stampin up sets. the bricks on the green is cuttle bug and the round happy birthday is a paper from Joann’s ( don have a birthday recipient yet).
Wedded bliss
I will be attending a wedding today, and i love this penny Black bike stamp and was able to use it in the penny black Staurday challenge. the sentiment is Stampin up, the ovals were of course cut with spellbinders. The left edge is done using EK success punch.
congratulations Rena and Felipe
Tuesday morning sketches birthday
I’ve loved posting my cards to the Tuesday Morning Sketches challenges (see their blinkie on the right side of my blog) because I like the sketches. Here’s my post for their first birthday, i didnt realize it till later but its their first challenge, and I didn’t realize it when i planned this but the pieces behind the sentiment look like candles, guess my subconscious is working hard. The cake is from stampin up Happy Moments and the sentiment SU’s Whimical Words – cut and embossed with spellbinder squares. Happy 1st birthday Tuesday morning sketches.
Anna Birthday
The Stampin up Happy Moments cut and embossed (frame) with spellbinder and colored with various pens. and a blue satin ribbon an bow at the bottom.
The card layout is from skipping stones designs
Happy birthday Anna.
simple crab
The crab ‘ fishy friends’ (and slight watery background ) are Stampin’ up the sentiment is Stampendous, although this One Layer Wednesday challenge was suppose to be a funny, but I don’t think i have funny, so I picked friendly.
Mojo 146 cake
Its time for birthday cards so here my Mojo entry 2 days late the cake and sentiment are Stamp’ up, the bricks are cuttlebuged and the ovals and sentiment were cut with spellbinders, I’m not sure about the origin of the background paper her’s the mojo 146 sketch.
Happy birthday America
Its almost the forth of July so I have my patriotic stamps and stars of course out on the stamp table so a Penny Black red white and blue theme challenge seems about right. I bayered a red stripe on g-rated glossy linen, added stars (Stampin up) and the Penny black butterfly, America from print works print works and the star punches at the bottom Martha Stewart. Looks kind of patriotic. I almost forgot i glued blue strip under the punching so the start on the bottom would be visible. This card also is entered in the Happily ever crafter challenge. enter if you have a red white and blue entry!
Happy 4th!
Happy birthday Marsh
Cards with two folds (on both sides) are called gatefolds and I like them but don’t think of making them since i have so many already folded cards. This is for Marsh who loves dragonflies and I like My dragon fly punches better than most punches, however the grass is stamped and the cut out dragon flies put over a green frame, a blue bow and its finished.(she loved it!)
