Fathers day chihuahua

I don’t have any ‘good’ fathers day stamps and i tied to use this one by using it as a background. the card design is cute card Thursday both stamps are unknow makers to me. i added gems to the corners for a card from my chihuahuas to my step dad.

simple tools

i updated the card with a border and put the happy fathers day on the top… i like it better…….

This was for two challenges Stampin Royalty Masculine card and Simplicity’s add a flourish. maybe its not enough, the stamp is stampin up I tried adding more but it just cluttered the card. (can you believe this is the 4th try and i give up…The flourish is three square brads…. not enough i think.but maybe it is… says happy fathers on the inside.

Tea step tuesday

Sometimes you have to be pushed to do something like make a step card, and today Tuesday morning sketches pushed… so here’s a step card. when folded it squares up but as a step card its seems a little off… the verbiage is paper tray ink. the creamer is Stampin’ up stamped and pen colored. the words are

“A warm cup of tea can diminish all the troubles that may be.”

Mary Sue and Lucy

I love this first communion picture of my aunt Lucy and her cousin Mary sue. (That makes Mary Sue my 2nd cousin) . I’ve thought of using this prized photo as a communion card but couldn’t wait to use it as a general card too. The card design is is the Mojo Monday 143 sketch, its mostly off the shelf Joann papers as background, frame cut with spellbinder oval nesties and a little ribbon thrown in. I’ve used this Stampendous sentiment so much I’m surprised its not warn out . Happy Monday!

masks and flowers

I’m usually not on top of things and able to do two challenges at 5 in the morning but the olw was to use a mask for a background and the Stampn Royality was a picture so here is the entry, the stamps are Stampin up the mask was a left over form a past nestie cut. the card is for a friend who wears lost5 of Hawaiian shirts.

Tuesday morning panda

I needed a panda so i bought this inkadinkado one last week and here’s the card . The panda is I stamped out with black ink on the stamp and then colored over the Chinese characters with red marker. The background is the Stampin’ up bamboo II background and the red frame is spellbinder cut. the dots are robins nest.

swirl frog

My sons visiting with his dog and I’m in the process of adopting a new dog and I’ve been spending my usual card making time with my son and the dogs…. three chihuahuas, not a house full but a lot of dogs !

The Penny black challenge was to use swirls so I used one with ink and one cuttlebugged into the background card. the oval with spellbinders nestabilities. . The stamp is penny black, the swirl hero arts and the color for the frog and flower are chalked.

Sand crabs

The challenge for simplicity one layer Wednesday 7 was repitition to use one the little stamps in a collection by repeating so I garbed the crab and repeated him across the beach. added a papertreyink clear wave and a hero arts clear stamp sentiment.
