Scented Garden in a Cup

Sometimes you just need a simple friends card.

I so love this Fun and Fast Note’s cup stamp and the roses reminded me of Stampin’ ups Scented Garden roses stamp.

So here they are together.

Rose’s 1st communion

On April 13th my 2nd cousin Rose received her first Holy communion this month.

I make a card to include her picture from the one sent on the invitation, and I thought she might replace it with one taken on the day of her communion celebration.

The stamp set is from ‘Our daily Bread design’ introduced to me by mama dini one of my favorite Blogs.

The rosary beads are mine made by my grandmother, Rose’s namesake.

We need more Tortoise cards

I haven’t made many turtle cards because I don’t have too many turtles.

But i have this one and deceided to use it. Its a new one from The Stampin Place. I found it while looking for a peep stamp.

I didn’t use the peep stamp, maybe next Easter. but am now using the tortoise.

Its colored with chalks and has grass from Whipper snapper spring clear stamps. The words are stampin ups.

Happy Birthday Hammy

Happy Birthday Hammy

inside and outside of a Welcome baby card.

I’m awaiting the birth of a grand nephew, –About the name, His brother,Tyler has picked out a namefor his new brother, and although I don’t believe his parents will name him hammy, I think if his brother calls him that it will become his nickname…. maybe not but this card is just in case. i got the idea for the card from scs galley you can look here for the design. I used some paper I just bought at Joanns.

Cup of Get Well Cheer

This is another stampin’ up stamp for the fun and fast set. The cup and flowers are painted with twinkling h2o’s.

The background is just the flowers stamped over and over.

The corners are the ticket punch and the get well wishes are in the window punched out.

Formal Penguin

Penguins always look so dressed and my sister wanted me to dress up the penguin card i posted earlier and asked for a red tie.

I hope the is ok. I needed another penguin birthday card and this one is really dressed up.

I added a dot cuttlebug and designer paper and some ribbon.

A Little Bit of Happiness 1

Here is a picture of a gardenia and a bee from my backyard.

The background is a hostess stamp from Stampin up ‘ A Little Bit of Happiness’ set,

I had the little bee stamp in my ‘little’ sets and don’t know whre it came from.

I just colored sections with twinkling h20’s. At the top a couple of brads were added.

By the way the pink behind is not part of the card just a little color I put behind to scan.

Special Thoughts

special thhoughts This card from Sweet of You, a stampin up set with a cute window and a cute thought. The flowerbox was done twice and the 2nd one cut out and raised on top.

The purple hearts are cuttlebug. The window is painted with twinkling h2’os and of course another Michael’s ribbon. The thought is “Special thoughts for a special Friend” and is kinda covered up by the watermark.
