Happy Birthday Paul fire

I’ve always made a chicken card for Paul… i love it when I’m at his home and see him feed the chickens…( i don’t have any chickens). This year thought I’d do something different and since his newest book is titled ‘Log and Kindling for the Fire of Revival’ , I had to include a fire and this fireplace seemed right. The stamp is from Make it crafty, the wood is the craft colored card stock …cuttlebuged with a wood envelope and the strips are from a memories paper pack. The challenge is Color Throwdown- summer sun, early espresso, Cajun craze and very vanilla.

blog vacation

happy birthday mom… today is her birthday. ***~~However i decided to take a blog vacation for a few weeks i will return Mar 1. In the mean time~~ thought i would leave a pictures of my pretty chihuahuas dressed for valentines day…Sisi is beautiful stuck up one and sweet bella is the other… see you soon.

Joy in color

Its been a week…..sometimes getting into the routine is hard, but maybe im back- Gina K gave a way a digital stamp and I used my Photo Shop Elements to color it with the colors from Color throw down this week. The background is a Sizzix emboss folder.

Gingerbead gift card holder

Last night my friend Beverly and I made two dozen gift card holders for our upcoming boutique. Here’s one of the gingerbread ones …on the left is a sample of the inside.. no stamps just paper and the punched man as a holder for the top flap, a word punch inside to hold the gift card. I entered this in cupcake inspirations challenge.
