Bert’s Christmas train

I’m really not into Christmas trains but Sara’s grandfather Bert, likes trains too and i have a Marks finest challenge and   Marks train stamp set  haven’t used so… here’s another train, cut with nesties and  a background Christmas paper .

Christmas frog

 Its December 12 already and here’s  my first Christmas frog in my favorite colors pink and green for the Allsorts ‘ it takes two’ (colors) challente , and here’s my Mojo Monday entry.  The back rouund papers are from a Recollections  stack titled Ballet(Nut cracker suite), the frog is all night media,and the sentiment is Penny Black.

Christmas card

Although I love Christmas, I love fall its symbols and colors so make so many autumn/fall leave cards its always in December when I start my Christmas cards… here’s the first… the challenge is a sketch from Everybody Art Challenge the nativity stamp is Penny Black ,chalked then cut with a spellbinder nestie as is the oval.

snowflakes and snowy

I’ve loved this stamp for years… so here’s snowy and punched snowflakes…  and yes it’s  easy for me in sunny(and or rainy) Southern California.. the stamp is Penny Black  cut  and embossed with spellbinder label nestie, the added color is from  Marvy pens and the scarf and little hat birds are pattern pieced;  Then a background paper and a couple of snow flakes  were added.  I’ve included the sketch below.

5 colors- christmas tree

The one layer challenge was to use 5 colors for a one layer Christmas card, and i was playing with digital trees, so here’s the challenge. 5 trees each a different color the stars have a touch of gold stickles to sparkle. the digital stamp is from Tiffany doodles.

partridge in pear tree

Guess it s time for Christmas cards two challenges today…toptip tuesday and Everybody art challenge today have that as a theme… therefore this card is for the first day of Christmass… I love this Stampin up stamp and I love quitefire design script for all its sentiments… it cut with spellbinder nesties and embossed in gold with a background paper… lot of steps and a card i think is a beauty.

July ChristmasCrab

Another Christmas in July but my sister suggested it being really about July…

so i wanted to use this the crab for Stampin ups Crab and company so here he is in Redondo Beach beach with his Santa hat. the sketch is from Tuesday morning sketches#10. and the frames are spellbinders.

pb christmas in july

Two challenges this week have Christmas in July Penny black challenge and one layer wonders. i stamped the image, chalked it for color  cuttlebugged  holly on the bottom , added stickles sparkle to the stars and halos…

After looking at the card i thought i colored too much so here is one with only Mary and Jesus….
